Ingredients
- 3 cups Trader Joe’s seitan sliced thin
- 2 table spoons of olive oil
- 1 large sweet onion
- 1 green bell pepper
- 3-4 vegan sub sandwich rolls
- Vegan Cheese Sauce:
- 1 cup vegan cheese shreds
1/2 cup of soy milk
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbs dijon mustard
1/4 cup of nutritional yeast flakes
- 1 cup vegan cheese shreds
Instructions
- Heat soy milk, garlic power, cheese shreds, chili powder, paprika, pepper, nutritional yeast and mustard in a medium or large saucepan on medium hear.
- Stir frequently until all ingredients are melted together.
- Open rolls and toast in oven until lightly browned
- Sauté belle peppers and onions for 4-7 minutes
- Add seitan sauce and mix with peppers and onions for 3-5 minutes
- Spread cheese sauce on one side of the sandwich roll
- Add seitan and sautéed onion and bell peppers
- Eat it all gone.
